Today is National Poetry Day and the National Poetry Day Website contains a selection of free poems here on the theme of Stars.
The Forward Prize for Poetry was announced on 1st October. The winner was Jorie Graham and Sam Riviere’s 81 Austerities won the prize for best new collection. A selection of winning poems can be read on the National Poetry Day Forward Prizes Page.
